Anant Matsya Eco Resort

Project Brief

Anant Matsya is a serene eco-resort nestled across 2 lush acres of greenery beside the water at Igatpuri.

The vision was to create a destination that feels untouched yet fully considered — where waterfront leisure, eco-conscious construction, and thoughtful architecture coexist without compromising the natural environment around it.

Nature, Designed

The project centres on a waterfront masterplan that layers eco-lodges, a leisure deck, boating access, and lush landscape into a single cohesive vision. Every structure is positioned to preserve sightlines to the water, minimise site disruption, and allow the natural terrain to remain the dominant design element throughout.

Eco Stewardship

Urboarch led the complete masterplan vision, integrating waterfront eco-resort development, leisure and recreation planning, and sustainable architecture across the 2-acre site. The design strategy prioritised natural landscape preservation, low-impact construction methods, and a spatial layout that balances guest comfort with ecological responsibility creating a resort that earns through nature, not against it.

Water Finds Way

The design draws from the timeless relationship between water and stillness, the idea that the most memorable retreats are the ones that ask nothing of the landscape. Igatpuri's lush, mist-laden terrain inspired a resort language rooted in organic forms, warm materials, and a quiet reverence for what already exists on the site.
